PHILLIP
GROUP'S HISTORY
Established 1975 in Singapore, The Phillip Group has grown
steadily and progressively since then, remaining profitable
each year despite the vagaries of economic conditions.
With
total shareholders' funds of about RM 800 million (S$280
million), the group consist of 20 main operating entities,
employing more than 2000 people located in 10 countries:
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Sri
Lanka, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and France. Assets
under the Phillip Group’s management, advice and
custody amount to RM 8.36 billion.
STRATEGIC
FOCUS
A high domestic saving rate, rich natural resources, a
pool of skilled labour and political stability - these
have been mainly responsible for much of the development.
Feeding overall economic growth is the presence of healthy
