Income Distribution for Phillip MASTER Money Market Fund - 2.98% (p.a.) for November 2008
  Phillip Mutual Berhad has declared a monthly distribution of 3.12% (p.a.) for Phillip MASTER Money Market Fund for January 2007. Unitholders whose name appears in the Register of unitholders at the close of business on 31/01/07 will be entitled to the said distribution. Units will be automatically reinvested on the next business day. Note: Distribution for Phillip MASTER Money Market Fund is on monthly basis. The historical distributions are as follows: 1) Since inception till November 2005, the distributions were at 2.5% (p.a.)/monthly. 2) December 2005, the monthly distribution declared was 2.6% p.a. 3) January and February 2006, the distribution declared was 2.76% p.a. 4) March, April and May 2006, the distribution declared was 2.90% p.a. 5) June 2006, the distribution declared was 2.95% p.a. 6) July 2006, the distribution declared was 2.97% p.a. 7) August 2006, the distribution declared was 3.00% p.a. 8) September and October 2006, the distribution declared was 3.06% p.a. 9) November 2006, the distribution declared was 3.10% p.a. 10)December 2006, the distribution declared was 3.12% p.a.

  Press Release 14 July 2004 Phillip Mutual Bhd donated funds collected through its CHARIinvest Programme to Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA), National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) in a ceremony at Mandarin Hotel today. CHARIinvest, is a 1-year campaign conceptualised in conjunction with the launch of Phillip MASTER First Ethical Fund (PMFEF). PMFEF allows investors to combine their financial objectives with commitment to social concerns. The fund steers towards capital growth over the medium to long term through investment in undervalued stocks based on the Ethical Guidelines. Derived from the Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) approach, the fund refrains from investing in companies involved in gaming, alcohol, tobacco and armaments. Through CHARIInvest, Phillip Mutual pledged to contribute a proportion of its income derived from sales of PMFEF to the abovementioned charities. CHARIinvest programme came to an end on 18 June 2004. Encik Munawir Mohammad, Phillip Mutual’s CEO, in his speech, was very pleased with investors response to PMFEF. According to him, SRI is making its presence felt in Malaysia and Phillip Mutual is proud to be at the forefront. Encik Munawir will also be seeking Phillip Mutual’s board approval to extend CHARIinvest programme for another year. Y Bhg Tan Sri Abu Bakar Suleiman, Chairman of Phillip Mutual’s Ethical Advisory panel, presented the cheques on behalf of Phillip Mutual to YBhg Dato’ Mohd Farid Ariffin - President of MAKNA, Mr Goh Seng Chuan - Chief Executive Officer of NKF and Ms Annie Verghese – Administrator of WAO.
